How do I choose the right wick size?

Match the wick to your container’s diameter — each wick series we stock lists the burn-pool diameter per size. When between two sizes, test both: fragrance load, dye, and wax type all shift the result.

Why is my candle tunneling?

Tunneling almost always means the wick is too small for the container, or the first burn was too short. Size up one wick and let the first burn reach a full melt pool edge to edge.

Cotton wicks are easier to size and more forgiving for beginners. Wooden wicks give a crackle and a modern look but are more sensitive to wax and fragrance choice, so always test.

Why does my wick mushroom or smoke?

A mushrooming tip usually means the wick is too large or the fragrance load is too high. Trim to 5mm before every burn and consider sizing down.
